Can biodiesel be used in cold temperatures? Yes it can!

March 10, 2009 12:32 by Jason Dossey

As Awake at the Wheel tells us, a group from the Indiana Soybean Alliance have successful tested using biodiesel in extremely cold conditions.  They were successful in running their specially made fuel down to -25F. This is substantially lower than the normal cloudpoint of 30F (made form soybeans). If this is a tale of things to come, we can expect more widespread use for locations in colder climates.
